Berrymans Lace Mawer LLP (BLM) is a law firm that provides clear concise advice to a broad range of commercial and public sector clients, including insurers, FTSE 100 companies, small and medium enterprises, local authorities, police authorities, professional service organisations, universities, government departments and other public sector institutions.

Our firm is 1200 strong, with 120 partners and over 500 additional legal staff. It has a national network of eight UK offices in Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Southampton and Stockton-on-Tees with associated offices in Paris, other European locations and around the world.

BLM is rated in the top tier for its defendant personal injury work and 31 of our partners have been recognised as leaders in their field by the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession (2010 edition).

As well as providing an excellent legal service, of increasing importance to our clients is also informing them of policy, regulatory and legislative consultations as well as assisting them in participating in the debate on reform proposals. We take an early and proactive approach which means we can work closely with clients so they understand the likely outcomes and impacts on their businesses and can plan accordingly.
